Pro Evo vs Fifa
I've always been a Pro Evo fan and never bought Fifa but always tried the demos just in case. However Pro Evo every year for me has been the better game right back from the ISS days before it became Pro Evo.
However this year Fifa 10 is something else. Played both Fifa and PES demos on the PS3 back to back and swapped back and forth and EA with Fifa seems to have come out with by far and away the best football game i've played.
The difference for me seems to be the space and runs and support you get from the rest of your team. It just plays like a proper football match
EA have finally cracked my PES fanboy status and converted me - my order is on it's way from Amazon. (I'm still keeping PES2009 to play occasionally because of career mode and it's still a great game).
Any one else been converted this year?

I was always a PES man but haven't bought one for a while now.
Bought Fifa 10 on Friday but I'm not sure yet - I wanted to pick my team and then play through the premiership but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that you just have to play as any team that comes up.
Then when I am playing I can't get anywhere without being tackled. I need some more practice I think.

I bought PES 2009 as I've been a Pro Evo fan for many years, however i found PES 2009 not as good as Fifa 09, so from now on unless PES can improve the gameplay and make it more fun i'll be buying Fifa games in the future.

But it seems Fifa and pro evo have swapped roles the last couple years
One going up and the other going down
I will be buying Fifa 10 today and as bish said unless PES changes dramatically will be sticking with it

fifa all the way for me now! ive always had the pro evo games till last year when i got fifa 09 and i dont think i`ll swap back to pro evo, i downloaded the demo to give it a chance and i know its not the finished article but it was awfull compared to the fifa 10 one!

Havent bought it myself but it was £24.99 at Tesco over the weekend and their website is still showing it at that price (at least on PS3) although currently out of stock but maybe worth a punt if you dont mind waiting.
