Splinter cell conviction - back at last and looking good!
This one has been a long time coming; apparently they pulled it when the makers saw the original Assassin's creed (which was a great game engine waiting for a great game) - deciding that the franchise needed a more thorough update!

I have Splinter Cell 1 here beside me for the ps2, still have never finished the first level 
I brought it in to play at work, as i found it in my collection and could never remember playing it, i failed 4 times before switching it off

I thought the last one was pretty disappointing in terms of the length of the game. Think it suffered due to them concentrainting more on the multiplayer.
Don't forget MGS is coming to the 360 as well.

I loved the 3rd Splinter Cell game that was on the original xbox.
Didnt like Splinter Cell Double Agent as much but it was not bad, never got round to completing it so will have to play it again soon.
Didnt play it online tho as didnt have xbox live when i last played it.
I got bored of MGS after the first 1, paid full price for MGS2 when it came out but only played it once and couldnt get into it ,even got MGS3 but again couldnt get into it. First one was awesome.

The new Assasin's Creed game is due out in November too. Gonna be a good few months for fans of the stealth genre.
MGS would be a damn sight better if they'd just quit it with the daft dialogue!!

It does looks quite promising judging by the footage shown so far, i just hope it plays as well as it looks, its going to be a cracking run up to xmas as some right blockbuster type games are all due to come out
