Default IE8 vs. Safari vs. FireFox

I need advice, just downloaded IE8 and i don't know whether its my computer or IE8 but it is noticablely slower imo and the drop down selection of websites is annoying me.

Now convince me to move over to firefox or Safari please

I've been using Firefox since it was first released. I used to use IE side by side to cover sites that wouldn't work or rendered incorrectly in FF, but I can't remember the last time I needed to resort to it. I have found a couple of websites that don't render correctly in IE though - can't be anything major, as I can't remember what they were.

The only thing I use IE for these days is to get to the config pages on my router, as that resolutely refuses to talk to FF. Probably because the router pre-dates FF, but that won't be a problem much longer because I've ordered a new one.

I've not tried Safari, but given how itunes almost cripples a well specified PC, I've no faith in the fruity company's ability to deliver anything like decent software for Windows.

If you go to the rhs of the drop downs on IE8 you can delete the website
Dont have any other issues with IE8, definately quicker than 7, just as quick as FF I find, not used safari either.

IE = IE
Chrome = Light, but not fully compatible with all sites/features
Firefox = Best all round
Safari = Buggy

I've been using Firefox for ages too, much prefer it to IE. If anyone here has their own kids, I found a great add on that turns FF into a kid-safe browser :KidZui
