Xbox360, Bt Home hub, Laptop wireless access
Hi guys,
Could you please advise me.
I have an Xbox 360 connected to my BT Home Hub V1.0 (we are having V2.0 deliveried on 14th July) via ethernet cable for Xbox live. My laptop is connect to the Internet/home hub through the wireless. I have had no problems at all. (touch wood)
My question is: Can I stream video/music with the XB360 from my Laptop via the wireless without physically connecting the Xbox to my Laptop? using the home hub as the middle man.
If so, how?
I hope that make sense.
Thanks
Adam

Dont know much about x-box but i do exactly that with my ps3 and my laptop. With the ps3 i had to scan for my laptop, when it found it it was just a case of setting up the security protocols.I assume it will be similar for your x-box

yes you can, but the Home Hub isn't the best router to be honest, try with wired if you have trouble with wireless
check the link it may be of use
YouTube - Stream Files from PC to Xbox 360

Hey guys,
Thanks for the info. I got it working. I already did the things you suggested and after foofighter said he does it with the PS3, i thought you must be able to do it a far superior Xbox360 lol.
I did some serious research, In the end it was the port forwarding of my home hub. God bless the tinternet!!!!
Got it sorted now anyway.
Thanks guys
