and what do you mean by that??
I'm simply advising you that after updating my 3G I never had any problems with YouTube.
I think you want to stop being so bloody touchy
If you don't want people to respond then how about you go and research the problem yourself.

Have you tried the sugestion of re-applying the 3.0 update? I have had weird issues with OS x and re-applied the latest combo update and it fixed the issue so it is possible this may also help with the iPhone too
I did a quick search and found this:
No YouTube On Jailbroken iPhone 3.0? : iSmashPhone
it looks like it could be something to do with the jailbreak. What you could also try is a restore, after backing up any data you want to keep, and see if YouTube works on the phone at that point.
It is certainly working for me on my 3GS, but that could be due to it coming with 3.0 and the problem could be something with the update to 3.0 and jailbreaking

When you say sky news app is not working what do you mean? Is this a jailbreak only app? Or are you referring to the sky news website, specifically the video section. I ask asi have looked there and vids won't work for me, but that is normal as they require flash which we all know iPhone does not suppot.

Ok, I have found the app, it's uk only so I had to go to the uk store. It is displaying video without issue for me, looks as though it does use YouTube so that would explain the corelation between the two thongs not working. Not surewhat else you can try bar the options already sugested
