What scanner to go with the new Imac ?
Wife recently had to get a new 'Mac as the old G4 died. She now has the new desktop Imac with the 20" screen.
She needs a scanner to use with this, 'photos and text, just for home use, nice and simple please !!
What is recommended ?
Cheers and Thanks.

This is overkill, but I got an HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One last year. It's a printer, fax, scanner and photocopier. Scan quality is pretty good, as is the copy quality too.

Canon PIXMA MP190 2910B008AA from MacWarehouse
My girlfriend bought two one for herself and one for her dad and the scan and print quality seemed very good. She bought them when there was a cash back deal so got them for £20 each which was crazy !
Canon scanners are pretty good and the printers use far less ink that the equivalent Epsons and don't suffer from print head clogging. I would now only recommend Canon and I've seen quite a swing towards Canon at the low to mid level market.

Thanks AllanB, we have bought a Canoscan LiDe 100 from Amazon. Specification matches the 'Mac and it is (I hope) a simple to use and straight forward machine for occasional home use.
