HD Monitors - Why so cheap ?
Just ordered a new Dell XPS and now i'm looking for a monitor.
Noticed Samsung are doing a 1080p full HD 24" monitor for half the price of a HD TV, so why so cheap, does the tv tuner and extra ports for all your av stuff really cost that much or is there less electronic wizardry involved in a monitor.?
Whilst I'm here any recomendations on monitors ?

The main observations I have noted with Samsung are:
Cheaper Samsung units have a tendeancy to use varied panel manufactures (AUO, CheMei, CPT to name a few) such as in the cases of some of Samsungs older models: 226BW, 931BW and 206BW, the 226BW using four different panel manufacturers depending on its date of manufacturer and country of origin and it was proven that they performed slightly different to one another.
Whilst the more upmarket ones use Samsung's own LCD panels.
