Hi everyone.

just bought myself a new macbook but i am trying to find out if i can download the songs etc that i downloaded of itunes for my pc. i also can not play any songs from my ipod/iphone. is there a way i can download the songs via history or do i have to buy them again.

The first thing you'd need to do would be to launch iTunes and sign into the iTunes Store using your AppleID account. This is the account you used to purchase the music. Once you have signed in you should then be able to play the music files that are stored on the iPod/iPhone.

You could also go into iTunes and select the "Purchased" link from the Store area and see if it shows anything, you may also want to try the selecting "Check for Purchased Music" from the Advanced menu in iTunes.

If you have the music on the iPod/iPhone then you could copy it back to the computer, but you cannot do this through iTunes itself. Have a read of this for information on how to do this.
