Cute FTP Mac

FTP GlobalSCAPE - Secure FTP Server and FTP Client Software

Sadly, not as good as the PC version, but still cracking.

You can also use Fetch:

Fetch -- the Mac OS X FTP/SFTP Client

Both will do the job.

Rich & Jack,

I've killed the LAN to the Mac, so can't try these. How are the text editors in Transmit & Cyberduck?

Thanks

Cyberduck has a 'Edit With...' menu, choose your own.

Another good FTP client is Interarchy. I've used it for many, many years. It also supports sftp and will also list http directoires, if the server is configured that way.

If you want a decent FTP server for the mac, then try PureFTPd. The built in FTP server capabilites of OS X aren't that great, hence the recommendation.

Transmit does have a basic text editor but very basic, I didnt know it had one until i just checked.
I Used Coda for my site building, it has built in FTP and excellent editing tools.

Dreamweaver has good FTP built in but is obviously way more £££
