I've got two Sumsungs (a 20" and a 24") attatched to my pc at home. Had them both well over a year, and they have been excellent

I've just got a 2443BW. Not had chance to use it much yet, but I'm impressed so far.

Tempted, I still miss the 1200lines that my old Hitachi CRT had.

Think I'm holding out for a IPS type LCD panel for the colour accuracy. Most 24" IPS panels are still over £400 when compared to TN types which are now can be had for £200, so I might have to wait a bit...

i think mine is a TN panel, and my photographic editing is just fine.

yes the other panels are better with greater colour depth, but SLRs have better screen gamuts than monitors, so get it right in camera and don't blame monitors... and save 200 quid for an xbox

Could someone do me a HUGE favour and measure the height from the base to the top of the 24" Samsung? i.e. the full height when in place.

I have a 22" at the moment and have been tempted by the 24" (280GTX gives me the ability to enjoy the pixels) but I'm not sure it would fit on my desk.

Can't do it at the moment... will do when I get home though, unless someone else has in the meantime.

443mm from the desk to the top of the monitor.

That's with it set at the height it came out of the box; haven't tried adjusting it yet.
