pimmo, we know you're a tight git, but why would anyone want to suffer the pain that is McAffee ?

Actually, it was your boyfriend. He said the irony was, your ringpiece is like a welly top.

A recent browse thru one off the better pc magazines recently tested all the major av softwares and this actually came out tops !!

will possibly stick with my kaspersky but apreciatte the link anyway.

I mean I've always hated Mc and Nort but having installed the latest Norton on this PC... its picked things up from my backups that has been missed by near every type of Anti virus program, including NOD, AVG, Panda and PCguard ...Now it maybe that its picking up things that aren't there .. but I would think as probably the most widely used Anti Virus program in the world, it would have the financial backing to be up to date !

I dunno .. its there for free and legal if anyone wants it.

McAfee has a bit of a reputation for false positives. Can't argue with the price though

<Antivirus product> has a bit of a reputation for false positives.

The consumer version has too many bells and whistles for me but the scanning engine is top notch. Good price though.
