RB5 Boyo

Folks, im trying to get a second TV in a different room set up for sky with a tv-link eye, but cant get the tv-link to work or even light up. I have the second tv tuned in for the sky and i am getting the picture ok but when i install the tv-link it doesnt light up??

I have read the instructions on the tv-link box and it says i have to do the following to set up the link from my sky box:

1 - Select 'services' and then 'system set-up' on the sky remote

2 - Press number keys 0 and then 1. Press 'select' and wait for installer setup on screen.

3 - Select RF outputs

4 - Set RF output to 'ON'

5 - Write down the RF channel number

Now heres my problem....i dont know if my sky digibox is too new or too old, but it DOESNT have an option for selecting the number '0' on the 'system set up' as the numbers only go up to 8????

So im suspecting my RF output is off on my digibox, but how the heck do i turn it on if i cannot select this option on the menu ....could this be the problem that my sky link is not recieving the 9v power from the RF to work?

I have tried the sky link firect into the RF on the sky box and it doesnt work at all either or light up, maybe its faulty? Either way i need to know how to turn on my RF on the sky box to try

it wont give a option its a hidden menu , it's on all sky boxes even the very 1st ones

just try it and it'll work

Tried it but it still the same, cant find this '0' option, the machine wont let me select 0 coz it isnt there, it will only let me select up to number 8, im lost

Did you press 01 then select?

Close your eyes if it helps, the hidden menu will appear

You shouldn't expect anything to happen after you press 0, or 1 for that matter, it is only after you press select the hidden menu appears.

Try it.

0, 1, Select.

Champions, got it done cheers everyone.

Just one more thing lol, how do I set the sky remote in the second room so that it controls the TV as well, i.e the tv volume etc so that i dont have to keep going back to the other tv remote to turn up the volume?
