Default Laptop annoying problem...

Hi all quick question I could do with answering please.

i have just moved from a desktop to a laptop so am having to adjust to using a laptop. The problem occurs when using the touchpad to move the cursor. Sometimes it automatically adjusts the zoom when I'm using it. Either up to 125% or down to 80 or 90%. its really annoying as I have to keep clicking on the zoom button to get it back to 100%!!

Is this a common thing with laptops or have I got a faulty one? Can the zoom feature be isolated cos its doing my swede!!!

Cheers in advance guys...

Its a Dell studio 1737. Its difficult to tell what part of the touchpad its doing it as the finger moves quick across it.

Could be a 'Clicklock' problem.

Go to the Control Panel and find the "Mouse" icon, there are various tabs that control your pointing on the touchpad, first try disabling clicklock, see if that works

No mate clicklock was off already. The zoom setting was the left hand side of the touchpad. I turned that off and its great now!!
