My mate has just bought Football manager 2009 for his lappy. It has installed ok but it comes up with "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application." when you try and start it. I've googled it and from what i can tell, as long as the pc is upto date with the latest service pack, it should work - but it doesn't
Any advice?

The first few google entries I found suggested installing Microsoft .Net Framework 2 would fix the problem. Have you tried this?

I did last night but to no avail. Just done it again and changed the compatability in the properties of the game and it works now Cheers Bud
