A 5 quid one will do. Don't be conned in to spending loads. It's a digital signal it either works or it doesn't.

Wot e said ^^^^^^

Spend no more than a few quid. I run my whole system with Kenable HDMI leads (Panasonic plasma, Yamaha receiver, Sony DVD/HDD/FV, media HDD etc) and can't fault them.

£2.80 for a 2m one

Agree dont spend loads but do ensure the cable is fully screened as the digital signal can be corrupted if running in long lengths especially if run in looms alongside mains cable.

I have a £10k+ AV setup and use HDMi cables from this ebay store.

eBay UK Shop - hdcable: hdcables, hd cables, high def cable

Cheers

lol @ £30 leads

after my old man died, my mam had a problem with the tv and i was sent ti investigate, the old fella liked his kit and had some crazy rats nest **** going on behind the TV

hdmi switching boxes, millions of wires, scart cables that looked fat enough to carry 100000volts etc etc

ripped it all out and re did it in a much more simple and cheap way, scarts were not needed anymore anyway, personally, the picture looked no difference to me.

Cheapest will do. Digital signals are basically a stream of 1's and 0's ... as long as the signal can be recognized it will reproduce perfectly. Your not going to improve it by spending 60 odd quid on a lead. Its not like anouloge !
Maybe this will help people understand HDMI cables... - PLAYSTATION®3 General - PlayStation.com Forums
