I've started writing up a "how to" on doing the above.

Interesting, I saw a bunch of those cards without PCI backplates on eBay ages ago and didn't think they would be worth the bother modding up for conventional fitting.

You might be interested to know that Windows Home Server supports GPT partitions.

Be interesting to see what the Raid 5 read/write speed is like.

Where did you get the 1Tb Samsung disks for £60 each? I think they're about £80 on ebuyer
