Default BT Home Hub, any good?

Hi

I currently have my phone line with BT and internet through Zen. I also think my router is a bit duff, it keeps dropping out. I'm also looking to save some cash!

I can get the BT HH for about £15 a month, with more than enough stuff for me! Zen is about £18 a month for 2gig, which has been maxxed out in the past. Also the Hub would be free and replace the one I have.

Not massive savings I know but every little and all that! What's the BT service like, Zen have been superb! I am right in thinking the Home Hub does away with my current router aren't I?

Ta

old hubs were crap, the newer ones are reported to be a bit better, but lots of people still think they are crap

my newer one keeps reverting my xbox status to "strict nat" by itself for some reason, usually now i have to restart the hub before switching on the xbox and its fine for around 8 hours before it switches it back

Sign up for an 18month contract with Plusnet and get a wireless router for free - 2Gb is £10 a month

The BT box is the biggest pile of ****-cheese ever provided to the British public.

BT service is the worst provider I had unfortunate pleasure to be with. When it goes wrong which it will, you have to put up will an Indian call centre that just reads of a script to you.

I would suggest the home hub to any of you had it about 3 months now + no problems so far touch wood!

im on the option 1
15.65 a month for 18 months
10gb download a month

strongest signal ever would recommend !
