Default Desktop Suggestions for dual Monitor

Got two nice monitors from eBay and have decided to run a dual monitor setup ..

Found a program that will put two different pics on each or stretch one across ...

Any suggestions for some good back ground pics ?

Goto Digital Blasphemy 3D Wallpaper and enjoy yourself

If you join - and I recommend you do, you get images that are designed across 2 or 3 monitors.

2 totally different independant images, each monitor is an individual one so the start bar is on the one screen and anything else opened up can be put onto screen 2.

much better and more stable also than software based splitters.

128 onboard ram on the card isnt bad either

I'm using a NVidia 8800gtx at the moment, with both monitors hooked off the one card. Got it set up so that I can just drag stuff from one screen to the other. It's very useful when using premiere for example, because I can monitor the output on one screen, and edit on the other. It's just basically one large desktop split between the two screens, and no additional software required. It's all very slick

Have twin TFTs at work - couldn't live without it now.

The nVidia desktop software does a decent job of managing it - things like a different wallpaper on each monitor.
