Question PC slowed down

My pc has just started to slow right down and the red busy light is flickering alot. Sounds like its doing something when it isnt. Keep on getting pop ups and the egg timer is alot. any thoughts apart from wiping it again ?
Using f secure and had no virus and ad aware to wipe spy ware. still no joy.

MSconfig might not be the best choice if you dont know what you're doing.

The home of Spybot-S&D!

Download spybot, up date it and run it !! Best free option I'd say !
