As above really, does anyone know what the best deals are? ADSL? Cable Modem? etc... I'm not sure which way to go, therefore any advice is appreciated.

I dont think you can beat the £25 a month for 512k Cable Modema t the moment.

I'm with Telewest, but NTL are priced the same

Cool

Try the following link:
http://www.net4nowt.com/

On the left you'll see the ADSL section. They list all ADSL providers form A-Z with comparisons for install/price/webspace etc...

ADSL uses a BT line and the only requirement is that you are within 5.5 miles of an exchange.

I went with Force9 ADSL home 'cos they give you 250Mb webspace plus the use of their CGI/SQL servers (not to mention a V.reliable 576K link). Customer Services is blinding too....

To paste a link surround the URL e.g. http://www.scoobynet.co.uk with :-

{URL]{/URL] replace { with [

e.g.
