Apart from fanboys who love i perticular brand who cares. As long as decent games are getting developed i dont care what format its on, or who's hardware it's better and neither should you.
Leave the ps3 alone and just enjoy gaming, which is what its all about.

Most of the 'proof' he has written in that article is a load of old crock. I bet he's working on an Xbox 360 exclusive

I've got the 360 and have no intention of buying the PS3, because for what it is, i just thing it's very over priced, Blue-ray aside, it's a games console with not a lot of great games, logic says why pay that amount for a console when they're are 2 others cheaper, and 1 of those has 3 vairiants.
Not a die hard fanboy, to me money matters, but that blokes post is drivel.

Swen, that's all well and good if you are looking at this christmas, but if you were only going to buy one console in the next 2-3 years, my view is it would have to be the ps3. There are no good games because its a couple years behind the 360 in the cycle, not because its not a good system.

Reading the blog post it just sounds like a raving fanboy.
But I have to disagree with Edcase. Yes The PS3 was 18months behind the 360 but in the first 18 months the 360 games were better than the first batch of PS3 games.
Time will tell but as the 360 is selling more than the PS3 month on month the developers focus will shift even further to port's and 360 only titles because of the higher installed base.

1) Financially, it just DOESN'T make sense for a developer to choose PS3. It takes longer and costs more, and comes at a higher risk because...
2) It hasn't sold many units in comparison to the opposition like Wii and to lesser extent Xbox360.
Whether you work in the business or not, based solely on an objective viewpoint Sony's PS3 is struggling, which is why they're created a stripped down, cheaper PS3 in an effort to increase sales (Sony's game division lost $841 million in 2nd quarter 07). Not to mention lots of games due for release across all formats have been "delayed" on PS3 - whether its due to 1) or 2) above is open to speculation.
PS3 is the new BETAMAX!

Give me Betamax over VHS anyday...it was far superior in terms of PQ.
Pretty sure that article has been posted numerous times - everytime someone feels like PS3 bashing...

Poppycock!, not only are there no good games for the PS3 there's no BAD games for it either. This is mainly because:
1) Financially, it just DOESN'T make sense for a developer to choose PS3. It takes longer and costs more, and comes at a higher risk because...
2) It hasn't sold many units in comparison to the opposition like Wii and to lesser extent Xbox360.

Im no expert in the games market, but wasn't the whole sale point/catch of the first 2 PS's that they were easy to pick up for even the casual gamer?. If that is the case, now they'll be going for the Wii or 360, and the more mature of the market would be the 360, as we all know the Wii wears thin after a while, hence why we sold it after playing it only a handful of times.
The stripped down PS3 should help them get the their foot back in the door, but they are loosing ground, i do believe in a way that Sony have been a tad arrogant with the PS3, expecting to sell due to the name.
