My free norton has just run out-can someone recommend me a free download,

AVG is the best free anti-virus.

Not much between the subscription anti-virus and the free ones for personal use

Anti virus for Linux, Windows and more with firewall, antispam, recovery security - Avira AntiVir or avast! antivirus software - computer virus, worm and Trojan protection by ALWIL Software imo i had AVG 7.1 then upgraded to 7.5 and had quite a few problems with it (conflict with my firewall and anti spyware) but if it works for you then fair enough

AVG here as well, norton was always a system hog when i used it in the past.
