Changing ipod nano battery...
Hi there you clever people! I'd like to change my battery on my ipod nano (about 18months old) to a longer lasting one. I have seen them advertised on Ebay, has anyone bought one/fitted one or are they a big con?! Any help is appreciated...

I've not changed a battery on a Nano, but I have on a 4G Clickwheel iPod. Battery had died, it was out of warranty, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
I got mine from here, and they have some great videos online to show you how to change the battery. So it's very simple.
I went with an uprated capacity battery as it made a bit of sense to do this at the same time

Bloody ridiculous design A 21st century product that uses a battery that needs replacement but you can't easily get to it.. So you pay Apple £50 or pull it apart yourself. Which I did and buggered up the iPod. Sore point with me
