Default Argh!! 360 Error code 0001. Help, RROD!

My 360 has just stopped mid game and the RROD has appeared. I have found out it is error code 0001 which I believe is a power supply issue from what I have found on the web.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything but to no avail. The power supply bricks light is orange and then when I try to switch the console on it flashes green briefly and then to orange again and the RROD (three ligths) is on the console.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I need it repaired professionaly does anyone know of everody around south Sheffield area? I dont think I will be able to send it back to Microsoft as the sticker is missing inside the faceplate bit.

Thanks!!

Will it be the power supply unit or could it be something else with that code? Im worried it wont be under warranty because of the missing sticker and if it will fix it I will get a new power supply unit from elsewhere.

At worst it will cost you £80 notes to repair (out of warranty , no sticker etc)
why has it got no sticker? have you been chipping / modding?

if you moan, they will prolly reduce the cost

i doubt you could pick up a psu second hand for
£80, thats assuming you get one...

have you called them?

if you post on here all you will get is peoples opinions... all vary BTW

phone MS, at least you,ll know where abouts in the ball park you are
