Default Problem with Amazon.co.uk

I have been surfing around on amazon for some stuff and all seems fine, but when I try to log-in my browser freezes and stops responding It doesn't do it everytime but 8 out of 10 times it will. I don't have any problems with any other site I use, just Amazon.

Anyone with any ideas?

I'm using XP with IE7.

I have tried it on my work PC running XP and IE6 and Amazon seems fine, could it be a problem with IE7?

Have you thought about trying Firefox instead of IE?

might be a cookie issue - delete your cookies for the amazon site?

Cleared all my cookies etc. (used ccleaner) and it still crashes when I try to "proceed to check-out" I can go on any other website and log-in and pay for stuff, i can now log-in to amazon and surf about, but as soon as I try to pay it freezes and crashes.

Anyone with any other ideas?

p.s. I am used to IE7, so would prefer to keep using it if possible.

(Still works fine on IE6 at work )
