Any of you guys experienced problems with said device?

Bought one of these about three weeks ago for my son, as his original wired headset had broken. We followed all the initial charging instructions and he used it until the 30min beep warning, then fully recharged it again, no probs. However when he came to recharge for a second time the unit was totally dead and wouldn't charge. I checked the charger for voltage - fine, so it would appear the unit had died. Took it back to shop and got an exchange. Three weeks later the second one has gone T*ts up in the same way. Got money back this time no question asked, but is this fault common place or are we just unlucky to get two faulty units?

I thought about getting one of these until I saw the reviews on the internet. Very unreliable seemed to be the general opinion, and the cheap wired headset was a much better prospect...

Seconded on that... Mate has/had one, tried the on-line chat and he couldn't connect properly. Break-ups the works . Get yourself down Game station for a Second-hand Wired one, if you havn't already got one.

When connected xbox live the unit performed without fault, it was only when the battery went flat that it seem to die.

never ever had a problem with mine except once in gears of war, i got killed so took the liberty of going to the toilet for a dump

when i came back people said they heard strange noises and then loads of static, had to switch off and switch back on for it to clear

sometimes it makes a beep noise, no idea why !

Strange, me and my friends all bought ours around 4 weeks ago, never had any problems with any of them.
