I've been banned form a paysite,help needed.
Nothing illegal, but i've been banned from a credit card paysite. I've been given this advice............
to get around an IP ban you need a proxy, if you go to tools > internet options/preferences/settings (depending on your browser) you can find a connections tab, in Lan settings you can set a proxy. You can find proxy's by googling proxy list... Good luck
Is that safe to do?
Secondly i tried all 4 of my credit cards and none will register. Could the ban be by things like my name or address which it recognises from the application.
Could i join at an internet cafe, then log on at home?

Short answer is no.
Long answer is phone your bank and find out WTF's going on. Why has your IP been banned? You must have been something fairly silly for this to happen.
I'd be personally not to look at by bank stuff from any computer which I do not have full control. You have no idea what's running in Net Cafe's PC's.
Again, same applies to an external proxy server.

Use a web-based proxy like :
Anonymouse.org
Just paste the URL into the box and you can get round IP bans easy enough
The IP ban might not be you - if you use cable its possible you and the rest of your street have been banned down to the actions of just one *** head

Bear in mind that it might not only be registration they have banned you from. Even if you did use a proxy to register, which I would not advise (talk to the site about why you have been banned and how to lift the ban) under any circumstances, then you would also need to use a proxy to use the site, as no doubt they will check the IP address, if that is what has been banned, when you login, and at that point I would assume it would prevent you gaining access.
