Default PC rebooting

My PC keeps rebooting itself but doesn't seem to do it under any specific conditions (does it more when playing games but does it when Azureus is running)
Wwhen the bsod shows up it says MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION and indicates a problem with memory, processor or power supply.
Whilst looking on here for similar threads i saw that memtest was mentioned (Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool) but i have no idea which one i need to download as 1 is a downloadable ISO in .gz or .zip format and the other one is a bootable binary in .gz or .zip format.

I have used SuperPi to test the processor and it passed (so i'm guessing the processor is alright)
AMD 3500+.
Winfast motherboard (6100k8m series i think i will check when i get home).
512mb ram (has a sticker saying 'Buffalo Steed' on it)
Intergrated nvidia 6100 graphics.
400w (or 450w) power supply.
Windows XP sp2 'ahem' edition.

Although i have 512mb when i run CCleaner it only says 446mb.

Any help would be appreciated cheers
