Angry

aaaaaaargh, when I dload the update file (479K) for IE6 SP1 it says I need a reboot because 'a previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot, setup will now close' which is b0ll0cks, as its the 1st time I've done it, or my Windows auto updater has screwed up somewhere. Anyway I keep getting the same message after a reboot

So any1 got a link to the full network install of it please? Or a workaround? ta

Ah - the famous pending file operations problem!!

Regedit the

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager

section.

Delete all pendingfilerenameoperations entries from here

Reboot.

Edit : Just read your second post! What a pra$$! I presume it was the same hack? I'll get back under my stone. Still, I've documented for other peoples' enjoyment
