internet explorer error
i have internet explorer and im connected to the internet but when i try to load a webpage it says cannot find server?
any suggestions what i should do?

Well the fact that you posted this suggests that your Internet connection is working OK. I can only think it is an incorrect URL for the web page you are trying to visit. Have you tried Googling the web page you are looking for to see that it exists?

are you sure the google page is just not cached, i.e just stored in temp internet files.. ?
try typing 'bbc' into it and see what happens?
I think I had something similar a while back and it always seemed to be refreshing the DNS server that sorted it out.
try right clicking on your network icon and click repair...I think this clears DNS.

You need to work out if you have a connection.

Start, Run, "CMD", Ok
Type IPCONFIG and check the IP address, if itd 169 or 192 you know you have issues. If its really any other number try
ping BBC - bbc.co.uk homepage - Home of the BBC on the Internet and see if it returns anything, if it does its gonna be a firewall issue, if it doesnt really I need to know the IP to help further!
Is there a router?
