Default Wireless Help

I have just purchased a laptop for se around the home, and want to set up a wireless network,
the laptop is from is dell, and is wireless enabled, so i now need to buy a wireless router, my broadband is provided by telewest, so i am aware that i need a dsl router.

Can someone recomend me a good wireless router, as there seem so many available, lookin in PCworld, there a re a couple that come with a usb thing, so i can make my pc wireless too, but need to know if there any good first.

couple here
NETGEAR WPN824 at PC World - Cheap Wireless DSL Routers - NETGEAR WPN824 WIRELESS 108MBPS ROUTER & USB ADAPTER KIT

NETGEAR WGTB111T-100UKS at PC World - Cheap Wireless DSL Routers - NETGEAR WGTB111T-100UKS WIRELESS 108MBPS ROUTER AND USB ADAPTER KIT

but why do the prices range so much, and wat brand is the best, ideally i need to be wireless by xmas day, so not got time for ordering online

any help greatly appreciated
