Can't get rid of Browser History!!!!
Since i got my new bt total broadband(btyahoo) i tried to erase my internet history in just about all of the ways possible. Yet the trainspotting websites i frequent are still there.
To make matters worse my girlfriend is coming over later. I'll have to say broadband has gone down again!!!aaaargggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Go to 'options' then click 'internet options'. In the 'general' tab is a section called browsing history - just click 'clear'. To prevent a history being kept, click 'settings' and in the history section set it to 0 days.

Also clear history, clear cookies both online and offline - if it is google that is rembering your search history, then tools, internet options, content tab, personal information tab, autocomplete tab and clear all history and then unselct forms - and it wont rember searches any more.
Had to do ths on a girls pc at work - was a little suprised at what she had been searching - and no not the normal shopping for shoes !!

I take it you are using the bt browser? If so go into the tools option and then select browser options (or whatever it says below internet options)
Here you can clear the searches, and also the sites visited.
Alternatively do it the long way, and go into docs and settings, choose the user (yourself), then choose Local Settings (this assumes you have set it up to view hidden files/folders), then you can go into history and delete them, then go into tempory internet files and delete everything, then finally go into temp and delete those files
