i use a 19in widescreen pc monitor for the xbox. Cost £19 for the bits to hook it up but the resolution is 1280 by 1024 and that gives me a better pic that my hdtv and can read everything

There are no decent guns other than the heavy machine gun you get from the convicts in the jeep. doesn't last very long though.

The best weapon early in the game is the katana in entrance plaza first floor. I think the shop is called ned's knick knackery or something.

There also a katana in the first mall (paradise plaza - i think its called) go to the coffe shop on the top floor and got to the window by the drinks fridge, jump out the window and theres one on the awning

There's also the Uzi - Which you get find by going halfway up the set of stairs nearest to the camera shop - Jump off the stairs on the to ledge behind you and then run along the ledge - past the big teddy, and then you'll find the Uzi sitting there.

That will make it easier as I've started from the beginning again as I lost the truth.

Kill Adam the Clown in Wonderland Plaza early in the game and you get the mini chainsaws.

Ah yes - forgot about those - awsome weapons - espcially for bosses. And once you kill him, the weapons will respawn at his location, so you have a supply when the weapons break.

That just brought back some bad memories!! The amount of times I had to restart the game because I "lost the truth" was ridiculus!! In the end I traded dead rising in for Gears of War because it was so insanely difficult! Stupid game!!

The game becomes pretty easy the more you level up. Once you get to level 50. You just need to put a bit of time in and play through the game a few times.

Yeah it's very frustrating. I completed it without losing the truth last week will all cases done. Then I got the D ending.

Turns out I needed to speak to the bird again before the end so I've got to do it all again.

ive just found an uzi in a fountin in al fresca plaza the big one in the middle for anyone looking, found the battle axe and katana in the in the nick nack place in the entrance plaza

Decided to try this out again after my marathon TD:U sessions

But realised that the reason I stopped playing it is that I'm stuck on a bit that I just can't do and its driving me insane!
Its the bit with 3 blokes in a jeep that either shoot you or run you over. Now I've read walkthroughs etc on how to kill them but I just can't flaming well do it. If I manage to get them stuck on a tree I still can't get close enough to shoot the guy with the gun, as soon as I do he fires back and it brings me out of the 'aiming' screen and I have to start again! GAHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh etc

The best thing to do is either get a sniper rifle from the gun shop, or kill the 3 sniper dudes and get a sniper rifle that way.
When you've done that, first kill the convict dude on the machine gun. Then kill the others. Its probably best afer you've killed the first one to get them wedged against a tree so there stuck. Then fire away.

i used the sword on then took a couple and some food the when they got stuck hacked at them one by one gun first then the baseball bater then then driver keep an eye on your health, Hide behind big tree and eat then do again till all dead. But once you kill them they come back.

Started this one on chrimbo day then got fed up so went onto gears of war,finished that this morning (FANTASTIC GAME) so its back to dead rising again,thank god i have the queen bee in a jar eik!!

Hold on, the guys in the jeep come back after you've killed them?
May as well just try and sneak round them all the time then?

But if you steal the convicts jeep you then get an achievement. But they do respawn every night.

Managed to sneak past them for a 3rd time, got to the north plaza and just made it to the gun shop with 1 health bar left. Short cut sequence of mad owner, 2 seconds of play and he'd shot me dead.

i havent managed to kill the gun shop owner yet. Can't hide, shoot, sneek, eat, just manage to get shot over and over ggrrr

I wouldn't bother killing him as he disappears after about the 2nd night wait till then to goto the gun shop. Either that or run out the shop and shoot at him from there through the window.
