Default Resizing pictures ?? (all at once)

I've got and will have in a short while a load of pictures I want to reduce in size by a percentage.
Is there a program out there where I can select all the files and it takes care of the resizing all in one go for all the pictures??

Using Paint to resize each one on it's own is starting to do my nut in already.

Cheers
Andy

if you can get hold of photoshop, it will do batch resizing in one go.

Create two folders, one with all your big photos. another empty.
Then in photoshop open one of the large photos.
Go the actions palette and record your action. This means that photoshop records what you do to the photo.
Resize it and save (dont call it anything, just resize and save).Name the action something like ...Photo resizing.

Then under the file menu, go to automate, batch.
Select the folder with all the big photos in.
Select the action you have just created.
select the source folder as the empty folder you created earlier
Click OK and sit back while it does all your photos in one go.

easy

IMHO Irfanview is THE single best app for batch work. It opens virtually any format and also saves to almost every format. Best of all it's free!!...
