Where do I stand (ISP)

When I moved out of my dads 7 months ago the cost of bring my ISP with my was more than a new one for 6 month, as was left on the contract.

Six months past and I phoned them, and again and again, with no answer, waited for hours and no answer.

So I sent them an email asking them to cancel my service and guess what, they took another months charge from me.

Right, so I sent another email and cancelled the direct debit, so they physically cant take any more money!

As I am out of the contract by nearly 2 months what is likely to happen when they cant get payment from me? The internet is still on now and I want it to be cancelled? Do they have any legal grounding against me for not paying?
