****, if you've only stating to watch, then you're in for a treat.
Some very borderline episodes, in particular these spring to mind.
The one featuring Michael J Fox, one about Down syndrome, and one called McStroke
Used to love Family guy, like series 2-9. The recent ones are just plain weird.
They must have changed writers but I often find the newer episodes uncomfortable rather than funny, and far too much unnecessary violence/gore which they simply didn't used to do.
Example: In 2006 Peter is busy being a star quarter back, and is proven to be mentally retarded - cue much hilarity. In 2011 they are doing an episode on Quagmire's sisters domestic abuse (http://jezebel.com/5854810/family-gu...-abuse-episode) wtf?
I just never found American Dad that good tbh.

I think I might have to get these on DVD or get a streaming service that has them on.
American Dad has it's moments. Plus Patrick Stewart, so how can you beat that
Oh and for a little hijack, check out Patrick's new show Blunt Talk. Rather funny, and so great to see Jean Luc swearing like a trooper, hiring hookers, and snorting coke like it's going out of fashion
