Having spent some time with PES6 I can safely say it is "lacking". Online is utterly broken and you will struggle to get any sort of game at all.
Not only that but the single player game is lacking too for 360. konami, for some inexplicable reason have decided to handicap the 360 version. 32 stadia on PS2 and PC , 8 on 360. 4v4 online for PS2. 1v1 on Xbox. International challenge on PS2 and PC taking your teams through qualifiers and the world cup. Not present on 360.
I am considering trading this in for FIFA 07 on 360 - will download the demo first and give it a go - not usually a fan of FIFA games - too wooden.

Got PES 6 as i didn't like the Demo of FIFA, Problem is PES is no better than 5 and a lot worse that 4, 4 was the best, with a few tweaks it would have been perfect but they've taken the arcade feel away and made it more of a sim, and that wasn't it's original appeal.

I've been playing PES6 on the PS2 and I think its pretty bad in terms of game play compared to 4 and 5 
The difficulty jump from amateur to regular is ridiculous. Its pointless playing amateur level as you will beat any team at least 10-0 in a 10 minute game but I then tried the regular level and it took me several 10 minute games before I could score a goal. The player attributes don't seem to work/exist, for example if I play as Arsenal vs Spurs and have Henry and Walcott up front who are probably the two fastest players in the Premiership those players will be caught and tackled by all defenders on the opposition and wont break free on through *****. Its just cr4p. Admittedly the player movements and general overall appearance of the game have improved but gameplay certainly hasn't. Perhaps I need more time on it but its pee'd me off so far.

That was the same in the 5 aswell, on Level 6, no mater who i had in my team, they get caught and tackled easily, meaning there was no point in buying any quick players as it would be a waste of budget

Has this game got the commentators talking when you are playing??
I downloaded the demo and there was no warm friendly voice telling me that i had just tried to hack some poor blokes leg off

What i mean is if your Real Madrid on Level 6 against say Sunderland on last years, you expect a hard game but then also win it with your decisive finishing or Raul and Ronaldo. If you wanted a challenge you'd play as Sunderland against Real with Jon Stead taking shots at the crowd.
But in truth, no matter who you select on level 6, it's almost like they're a default stats team, which defeats the point of in the Master league buying better players, because they don't improve your team, your like most women in life, paying for a name.
