Saving video streams from You Tube and the likes
Is there any way of doing this?
I am needing a few vids for a presentation I am puting together and I'd like to use some I have seen on YouTube.
Cheers
Paul.

Not sure if this will work for you but I've managed to get some streamed stuff off another site (like You-Tube).
Go to the video you want to download, make sure it plays all the way through, then open an new Internet Explorer window, look in the history and you might see the actual video file as well as the web page.
I've done this successfully on FileCabi.net - Where you Provide the Entertainment!

And here's how to convert them to AVI or MPG...
Convert Flash Video (.flv) to AVI (.avi) or MPEG (.mpg) - lifehack.org
