Default Laptop Keyboard

Quick One

When I press shift 3 I get @ instead of the "

I think I have set it up as a US Keyboard but for the life of me I can't seem to change it

You've got your language / keyboard settings set to US instead of UK. Look in the control panel, select the "Keyboard" icon, and change the language to UK. Also, you might want to check the "Regional and language options" icon.
