Can I use my new Ipod Nano with Win 98SE??
Guys,
Just got a new Ipod nano as a birthday present, unfortunately, it looks like you need windows 2000 or xp to use Itunes!!! DoH!!
Are there any ways around this; i.e. earlier editions, 3rd party software??
Many thanks,
Ns04

I thought you just plugged them in and used them like you would a floppy disc,
ie, copy and paste music onto it or delete.
Try plugging it in, you may need to go to the apple site and get the USB drivers if it is USB!

Hi all,
New_scooby_04 if i was you just go for the Windows XP Home update, if that's not an option I've found a alternative for you:
Winamp: WINAMP.COM | Winamp.com: Media Player, Skins, Plug-ins, Videos, Songs, Riffs, Jams, Grooves - It's FREE
Then download iPod Plugin: WINAMP.COM | Plug-ins - FREE
I would still go with my first option of doing a (Windows XP Home) update, just make sure your pc can run XP and Winamp before you do any updates.
Good Luck, if you need help just pm me.
Daniel.
