Getting a Jap PS3?
Anyone getting a Jap PS3 when they're released next month?
P!sser about ours being delayed, just wandered if anyone has a pre-order or is gonna get a jap version (eBay).
...bet they're gonna go for silly money.
Wandered what "silly-money" will be though, as i got my xbrick360 for £425.

No. I reckon it's too expensive at the RRP, so I dread to think what it'll be like on ebay. I'm guessing we'll be seeing prices well over £500-600. Especially as the number of units they are distributing in the first batch is woefully small...
Can't imagine why anyone would want to pay over the odds like that, when they can just wait 6 months and get it at a much reduced price (there might be some games worth having by then as well)...

I only paid through the nose for the xbrick360 because a friend was coming from abroad for new year and we wanted to settle the score on some games.
I'd probably pay £500 for one. If there were any good games available. GT, F1, etc...

Not that bad is it?
I sold the x360 because there were no good car games before June, still don't think there are.
I was hoping GT, F1 and a rally title would be out near the release.

F1 is looking good graphically but I've heard the gameplay is average. GT HD is just the old GT4 in high definition. You'll have to wait until GT5 for any nice new stuff and that's not likely to appear until the end of next year (at the earliest).
There aren't many good driving games on the 360 at the moment. Burnout revenge is a superb arcade racer. Test drive is ok, but not great. I'm really looking forward to Forza 2, (Forza 1 was much better than GT4 on the old xbox imo), but we've got to wait until March for that. MotoGP is also excellent if you like bikes (although it's flippin hard at the champion difficulty levels)

Are they gonna do Toca for x360? I think its a much better game that gt4 on the PS2, alot more 'real' race tracks and the variety of cars is just staggering.

Yep, cant wait for Forza 2, Sold my PS2 as I didnt need it for GT4 when I got Forza for the Xbox, it got slated on here so I didnt bother at first, got it of Ebay one drunken night for 15 quid and never looked back.
If Forza 2 is more of the same then it will be fantastic, engine swaps, pure genius.
