Default Veritas equivalent?

Hi Guys,

I'm after a (freeware would be good) application that will back up all of my data from various logical drives onto 1 large hard drive.
I want the application to do backups without user intervention, in other words, I want to install it, set it up and then forget about it

Does anyone know of such a program? It is for home use, and I cannot afford to spend £££'s on it.

Thanks for any help given.
Andy

EMC Retrospect Personal? I use it here on the mac and it's very simple to setup. Alas it's not free (well, not unless you get a dodgy copy of it)
