What a completely useless story, completely fails to tell how the 100Mbs is supplied. Could be a leased line for all we know which is hardly revolutionary.

A set of 20 computers at goonhilly in Cornwall with a satellite up link . If I had a 200ft sat dish in my back garden I would hope for more than 8 meg

Same here. Currently have the BT 8Mb broadband package, but only seem to get 4Mb. Besides if you had a 200ft Sat dish in you're back garden you might be mistaken as being part of the S.E.T.I institute.

Hopefully BT will be able to supply something Korea already has. That's if they do a major investment in the current cable infrastructure. At least they are trying.

Downstream 48,375.0 Kbps ( = 47.2 Mbps ) Upstream 14,173.8 Kbps ( = 13.8 Mbps )
my connection at work isn't bad
