Argh help, my monitor has given up the ghost!
My old faithful CRT monitor looks like it's finally given up the Ghost. Lots of grey shadows across the screen and the brightness and contrast are all wrong!!
Maybe its time to upgrade to TFT.
BUT What aspects of TFT screen specification are most important?
I'm guessing the following is most important, but are the corresponding values good/bad?
8m/sec Response Rate300cd/m2 Brightness
500:1 Contrast Ratio
Is this ok?
I don't want anything flashy just a good 17 inch to replace mine.

Turned out it was the graphics gard!!
Sorted now. That looks like a nice monitor though- thanks for the heads up!
