Default Skype, VOIP etc..

I used this for the first time on a mates PC the other week, and its clever stuff, am I right in saying its free to landlines and only buttons to a mobile?

also, instead of looking like a bod in a call centre withe daft headset, does anyone make a 'normal' type handset that integrates with the VOIP by bluetooth or something?

I'd use something like Voipbuster for landlines, Skype is only free to other Skype users. It's a nominal charge to landlines, and a bit more to mobiles.

Get the headset and look like the rest of us

I use it for talking to my customers, only the ones on retainer but those who have a mic and speaker I can hear feed back from, i can hear my voice as an echo. All those who bought headsets its like talking to on a normal phone.

You can get "proper" cordless phones these days that work with VOIP, or a box like this http://www.broadbandstuff.co.uk/prod...80c8fe1fc6d029 that allows you to link any old phone, or indeed your whole home phone network if you have multiple phones, into your broadband to use VOIP.
