XDAii & Blackberry
Hi peeps,
Anyone here got their XDAii working with Domino/Blackberry enterprise server? Have just downloaded the new Blackberry Active Sync software from O2's website but when installed on the PC the first time it runs it says it cant find the BES server, not very helpfull! Obviously the server is fine as all our normal RIM devices work fine, cant understand why the XDA software wont work. Have read the PDF that comes with it but its about as much use as a choclate teacup.

You didn't ask for help
TBH no real issues. More handset stuff.
User set up on the BES?
Version of BES? Needs to be 4 I think. We have 4.x mostuptodate but had it working on v4 before that.
Hmm
Strange one but drop the XDA in the cradle after the BB Config software working as sometimes it won't connect.
Have you set up Activsync itself? IE don't have Enable Synchronisation with a server checked?
Have you got the SIM BB enabled as well?

Heh - I didn't have the server problems, it was trying to get O2 to get the device registered on the RIM apn and the SIM BB enabled that was my fun and games
Then every month it would lose connection as RIM did a sweep of their servers and dumped every "non-commercial" device Couldn't get them to understand that an XDA2 on a business contract was a commercial ie business device.
However, once sorted, I suffered XDA2 with BB until 1.71 ROM was available for the 2i and not looked back since.
