Default Just finished Half-Life 2

Been ages since I played a game through to the end. But this was great! Roll on retirement when I get more free time

I'm about to start Far Cry all over again.

I loved that game - in fact I'd put it into my top 5 on the PC.

Bit disappointed with the ending. It really did just stop. Any conspiracy theorists think they know who the G-Man is? Weird guy!

I'd only dabbled with hl 1 before, but bought hl2 and was well pleased. One of the few games I've actually made time for to play Like you say though James, it all ends very suddenly. Liked the bfg at the end where you could throw the guards around, very lifelike physics
Far Cry has just gone in my pc, £9.99 from pc world Good game so far, and quite tough even on medium setting.

I think it just seems to end quickly - the game goes on for AGES

I see it as a sign that the game was good. Just finishing it for a 2nd time now

Loved it. Well worth the wait yadda yadda yadda

Loved FarCry too

I think the HL games are like great films. They always seem to be over quickly but in fact it's just that you're so engrossed in it, it just seems that way! (although I do think the last level in HL2 was pretty short in terms of actual gameplay - lots of travelling round on those conveyor belts).

one thing worth noting is the original Far Cry team didn't do any of these conversions. They only stick to the PC version.

Far Cry's official sequel, Crysis is out in at Christmas and is looking STUNNING:

FEAR? Worth a look IMHO.
Q4 also worth a gander.
COD2/MOH2 if youre into that sort of thing.
SIN Episodes as mentioned above.
Oblivion if youve got ALOT of time on your hands... ( I "lost" last Monday to it!)
