Default OBD II, Odometer reading

I am just about to change the clocks in my 2002 wrx for Sti clocks, and I want the millage to read the same.
Now i have a OBDII interface cable to connect to my laptop.
Question is does anyone know of any freeware I can use to get the clocks to read the correct millage, and how to actually do the process?

Cheers

I have the hardware to do the job myself, just wanted some advice on the software.

Cheers anyway.
