Default Sky+ and Multiroom

I have Sky+ downstairs which I`ve never connected to a phoneline, but this week I decided to hook my other digibox up and get multiroom for an extra £10. Now to take advantage of this I have to have the boxes connected to my telephone line 24/7.
The problem I`m geting with this though is that everytime one of the Sky boxes calls home or if Sky calls the box, which they do on a regular basis to make sure that they stay at my address, My internet freezes or get logged of something.
I had this installed for my son who spends a lot of time in his bedroom on MSN and its him that its pi$$ing of more than me, so it looks like I cant have two digiboxes a PC through an ADSL gateway and a laptop running at the same time, oh we do make an occational phone call as well, running through just the one phoneline without confliction.
Phoned Sky to cancel the multiroom card And I got a lot of bull that the box/es may be faulty maybe its not installed right etc, but then he said that I may need extra filters. Have anyone got a set up like the one I`ve described and not having problems with their internet.Have you got any extra filtersand will these sort the problem out.

I have 2 sky boxes, plus broadband etc. and two phones.

Every phone or sky box is connected to the BT line (via extensions etc.) via a filter (on the voice or phone connection).

My broadband similarly is connected to the data port of a filter.

I have no worries with calls during internet sessions.
