well, how much is a sky+ multiroom subscription?
existing sky (digital) customer and have been for >10 years (always with the full package, now 41 quid a month).
want this sky+ multiroom, but looks like it costs 199 for the new box and they move the old box to another room. it's hard to work through all the blurb but i thought it would cost another 10 a month, but in the ordering screen they want 20 more, 10 for the sky+ and 10 for multiroom (but i read if u have 2 of sky sports 1, 2 or movies 1, 2 u don't pay the 10 for +)?
if u go in as a new customer u get the box for 50 quid less and seem to only pay the 10. so, if this was the case u would just cancel your subscription and become a new member.
anyone know what the deal is?
cheers
steven

Err well lets see if I can bullet point it for you and simplify their current offer (all in the small print) and make it more readable
So TOTAL COST = £199 to £150
PLUS: £120 per anum on top of your current subscription
This assume that your current subscription includes 2 premium channels - if not you'll be charged extra for a sky+ subscription of £10 per month (£120pa) (otherwise free)
You cannot end a subscription then take a new one out in your name to gain from new customer offers (although not sure if you could do it with another name of somebody in your household )
hope that helps
edit...I think I got it all confused myself now
- 2nd box subscription is an extra £10 a month on top of your current subscription (£120 a year )
- Sky+ box is £199 or £150 via internet order or quoting a magazine/paper special offer
- Installation is free

just ordered it myself for a new house,£189 inc installation. No point going to Ebay for that sort of price imo.Do NOT remove the telephone cable to one box though, the engineer told me that might mean the additional £10 goes to £41!

I had my phone line disconnected from my Sky box for about 6 months with no problems. (Didn't watch any PPV)
If you have Sky+, can the second receiver also be Sky+ for the £10 fee?
